Anouck had a serious go at gymnastics and many other sports before finally opting for climbing. She had however had a taste of it early on, a couple of times, with her Dad. «Then I started to climb more regularly in the 3rd year at high school, through the interschools competitions. But it was when I joined the Escapilade club in Saint-Etienne, that I really started to train and commit to climbing. »
She is rapidly spotted by the national trainers for her extraordinary physical qualities, and now trains at the national centre at Voiron. « Climbing gives me great release, and through competitions I'm learning to control my everyday stress by challenging other climbers … I'm always in it to win it. »
