What & where :
Built in 1984 and measuring 55 000 m², it has a pyramid shape and its slopes are laid with grass. Its modular aspect means that the POPB can be used for pretty much any show or event, and can house 18 000 people if required ! Organisers particularly appreciate the many annexes and there’s even a skating rink !
Many famous French and International artists have played here (Depeche Mode, U2, Pink Floyd, Metallica, Madonna, Johnny Halliday, Indochine, Mylène Farmer, Michel Sardou...), and most sports have hosted events here: Martial arts, Basketball, Boxing, Cycling, Horseriding, Gymnastics, Moto-cross, Ice skating, Tennis, Volley-ball and even Skiing and Funboarding !
